Group 4 Conquer the mountains

What a cracking day we've had out on the mountains! Highlights include; making Autumn crowns, reaching the summit of Castle Crag, making slate sculptures, gathering firewood and a flammable fungus called Alfred's cake, exploring Milligan Dalton's cave, ghost story with hot chocolate and marshmallows in the cave, every child successfully using a fire steel to create fire, and then a stroll through the woods back to the bus. Exhausting but memorable!
Enjoy the photos,
Mr Roddy.
